The Spiggle Law Firm seeks applicants with a sales background to serve as an Intake Specialist.

Spiggle Law is a boutique law firm focusing on empowering women who have been fired or are afraid that they might be. Mr. Spiggle is the author of several books on pregnancy discrimination including, “You’re Pregnant? You’re Fired!”

The key duty will be to answer the firm phone and guide callers to the services they need. This effort will include persuading callers that meet our client profile to schedule a paid consult with the firm. You will also be working with our other Intake Specialists who follow up after initial calls with potential clients.

The Intake Specialist at our firm is a key, front-line employee. We are not looking for someone hoping to make a career of answering phones. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.) Our firm seeks ambitious candidates who wish to have (or continue) a successful career in sales of any kind.

The intake specialist in this position may be eligible to receive specialized training in how to sell professional services through a third-party company with which TSLF works.

It is expected that the person filling this position will, within 12-18 months seek growth to other positions within TSLF or to find, with the full support of firm leadership, the next-level sales position in another company.

As an Intake Specialist, you will become familiar with the firm’s many educational products and digital-marketing efforts. You will be a critical liaison for potential clients, educating them about employment-law services and specifically how Spiggle Law operates.

The firm is robust in digital marketing and actively uses Infusionsoft to coordinate client intake and management. As an Intake Specialist, you will be trained in the use of this, and other cloud-based, programs.

Ideal candidates will meet one or more of these criteria:

  • An interest in sales and marketing as demonstrated by education and
  • A good phone presence
  • An ability to work with callers in stressful situations (though most
    people who call are quite nice)
  • A quick learner with new technology
  • Not required, but experience selling on the phone is a plus.
  • A four-year undergraduate degree is strongly preferred.
  • We welcome recent graduates who seek to break into the sales and
    marketing field, and who might use this position as a stepping stone to
    more senior sales positions.

This opening is full-time from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in our Arlington, Virginia office with some options for occasional remote.
