About Kimberly Zicafoose
Kimberly has traveled to 52 countries, so travel is tops on her list of favorite activities. She also grew up playing the violin, although she hasn’t played in years. Now, she has a fantasy of taking lessons again and learning to play the blues on the instrument.
If you said Kimberly is a well-rounded person, you’d be right. She’s a Registered Private Investigator with the Commonwealth of Virginia and a Certified Court Mediator, certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia Office of Dispute Resolution. She mediates civil court cases out of General District Court.
She has also received advanced training in crisis management and hostage negotiation – skills that helped her in her prior six-year career as a flight attendant. This training and experience has made her a “professional problem-solver.”
Academically speaking, Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from James Madison University and her Paralegal Certificate from Georgetown University.
In her spare time during elections, she works the polls for the City of Alexandria. She worked her first election for extra credit while in high school in Virginia Beach, and she has been a poll worker ever since.
Besides her love of travel, Kimberly likes to dance and listen to live music.
