Legal Services Support CoordinatorAbout Angela Miller
If you speak with Angela on the phone, she probably won’t sing—but you’d be very happy if she did. She’s a trained opera singer (a mezzo soprano) with an A.A.S. degree in Music Performance from Schenectady County Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education (K-12 Certification) from Messiah College.
She has starred in a number of opera productions, including as Baba in “The Medium,” Augusta Tabor in “The Ballad of Baby Doe,” Mistress of the Novices in “Suor Angelica,” and Idamente in “Idomeneo.” She has also performed “Elijah” with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra.
Even with all of that musical talent, Angela says she’d like to someday return to school to possibly study law or gender studies. In the meantime, she loves watching the Food Network and yelling at the screen during cooking competitions as if she’s watching sports. She also enjoys crocheting and playing strategy-based video games like Sid Meyer’s Civilization, Dragon Age, and Paper Mario.
Angela loves the movie “V for Vendetta” so much that she even has a V for Vendetta tattoo. And if you’re a fan of “Game of Thrones,” “Westworld,” or “Breaking Bad,” the two of you will have plenty to talk about.
